Deep Space

Updated: Feb 23, 2024

Sometimes one must embrace the small and be bold, as revealed in this wee bathroom makeover.

Benjamin Moore's Deep Space 2125-20 grey creates depth and drama. It suggests a larger room. By continuing the colour onto the low ceiling a sense of more space is achieved.

Renting means no control over cabinets, countertops, flooring, mirrors and lighting fixtures. Work with what you have. The dark fleck in the countertop gets pulled into the walls and the white cupboards means white accessories. The power of white fully reflects wavelengths of light.

Glass art inspires. Its reflective nature plays with the light, adding even more depth to the room.

Baskets and trays are a favourite as they aid in de-cluttering, an essential practise when working with small spaces.
